5.5mm Silver Dot Studs in Fukagawanezu
These Small Silver Dot Studs are handmade in recycled Sterling silver and filled with eco-resin mixed to beautiful, Japanese-inspired colours.
The colour in this pair was mixed to match the colour of Fukagawanezu [Mouse Grey]. According to the Essence of Colour in Japanese Design by Rossella Menegazzo, there were more than one-hundred shades of mouse grey in the Edo period.
The studs measure 5.5mm in diameter and come with Sterling silver scrolls.
The studs were originally inspired by a quotation from a book by Carl Sagan called 'Pale Blue Dot'. The book was named after an image of Earth taken by the Voyager 1 space probe from the edge of our Solar System. On board the space probe is a golden record with peace greetings to the Universe in 55 different languages, including whale song. Each little dot essentially conveys a message of peace across space and time.
Prefer a different colour? Then select 'Custom Colour' from the dropdown menu and state which colour you want in the message to seller during checkout.
The studs come in a little organza bag and will be carefully packaged to ensure that they are not damaged in transit.
Ready to ship in 1-3 business days. Please allow up to two weeks for custom colours.
