'Golden Record' Bangle with Red Slider

The inspiration behind this bangle is based on the Golden Record aboard the Voyager 1 space probe launched by NASA in 1977. The record contains sounds and images selected to portray the diversity of life and culture on Earth, as well as peace greetings to the Universe in 55 different languages and whale song, intended one day to be found by intelligent extra-terrestrial life.

The bangle is handmade in Sterling Silver. The Sterling silver slider is filled with eco-resin mixed to a warm red and polished to a glossy finish. The back of the slider is silver, as can be seen in the first image. The slider dances loosely around the bangle.

The bangle is hallmarked by the Edinburgh Assay Office. As countries all over the world are increasingly looking inwards and international tension grows, it is hallmarked with the International Convention Marks as a symbol of reaching out across borders.

The bangle is a size large and measures 70mm internal diameter.

The bangle will be shipped in a grey recycled-card gift box and carefully packaged to ensure that it is not damaged in transit.
