First Exploration Bangle with Turquoise Slider
The inspiration behind this bangle is based on the Golden Record aboard the Voyager 1 space probe launched by NASA in 1977. The record contains sounds and images selected to portray the diversity of life and culture on Earth, as well as peace greetings to the Universe in 55 different languages and whale song, intended one day to be found by intelligent extra-terrestrial life.
The bangle is handmade in recycled Sterling Silver. The Sterling silver slider is filled with eco-resin mixed to a fresh turquoise colour and polished to a glossy finish. The back of the slider is silver. The slider dances loosely around the bangle, catching the light as you move.
The bangle is hallmarked by the Edinburgh Assay Office. As countries all over the world are increasingly looking inwards and international tension grows, I have chosen it to be hallmarked with the International Convention Marks as a symbol of reaching out across borders.
The bangle is a size medium and measures 65mm internal diameter. The chunky slider is 11mm in diameter. It will be shipped in a grey recycled-card gift box, carefully packaged to ensure that it is not damaged in transit.
Ready to ship in 2-3 days.
Special colour requests are always welcome.
