Textured Oxidised Leaf Dot Earrings

These beautifully-textured, oxidised Leaf Dot Earrings are part of my Snapshot in Time collection.

The collection evolved from a pendant I originally designed in response to the socio-political events that marked 2016 and continue to impact us globally on so many levels. The dots add a touch of playfulness so inherent in human nature, with a nod to our tiny planet as seen through the eyes of Carl Sagan in his book Pale Blue Dot.

The earrings are handmade from recycled Sterling silver. The leaves are textured and oxidised, the dots are filled with resin. The earrings measure just over 4cm long from the tops of the ear wires. The Moon Stoppers act as a little counterbalance. They are held in place by friction and slide on and off with a little gentle persuasion. Choose With or Without Stoppers from the dropdown menu.

I hand-mix all my resins to beautiful unique colours. The original Snapshot in Time pendant juxtaposed the colours of man and nature. The colour in these earrings is a warm autumn beech colour against an industrial mesh weave texture.

The earrings will be shipped in a grey recycled-card gift box and carefully packaged to ensure that they are not damaged in transit.
