Contemporary Silver and Resin Eclipse Brooch

Contemporary Silver and Resin Eclipse Brooch

This one-of-a-kind Eclipse brooch is part of my 'First Exploration' range and a continuation on the planetary theme. It was inspired by an image of Saturn called 'Quintet of Moons' taken by the NASA JPL Caltech Space Science Institute (Reference PIA14573).

The brooch is entirely handmade in Sterling silver and resin with a Sterling silver pin. It measures approximately 5.5 by 3cm.

The main colour of the brooch is Slate Grey, contrasted by Autumn Birch (yellow) in the smallest moon and the original 'Pale Blue Dot' colour in the back of the larger silver moon.

The brooch is fully hallmarked on the back by the Edinburgh Assay Office. Today, as countries all over the world are increasingly looking inwards, as borders and barriers are being resurrected, as international tension grows, I have chosen it to be hallmarked with the International Convention Marks as a symbol of reaching out across borders.

The brooch will be gift-wrapped and carefully packaged to ensure that it is not damaged in transit.

Ready to ship in 3-5 business days.
